I have been involved in the car biz since I was 13 years old. I started by mowing, filling cars with gas, etc. Then, in 2004, I moved to Des Moines to attend AIB College of Business. My first job outside of college was Working for Dewey Ford. I sold cars for 6 or so months. Then I was moved into the Finance Department. I learned so many different skills from customer service, understanding bank contracts, and that is where I developed my passion for helping people. I worked for Dewey for about 4 years.
When Dewey Ford sold out to a larger company, I wanted to stay in the car biz, but I wanted that "family owned" business feeling. In 2009, I moved across the Interstate to Bob Brown where I was hired as a Finance Manager. I did that for about 3 years & they promoted me to the New Car Manager. I believe this is where I started to excel in my career. I was finally able to train and lead a staff to meet their goals as well as still being able to help the consumer purchase or lease their new vehicle.
Well, life changes - after 8 years of being at Bob Brown, I got married, my wife and I had our first child; and I came to realize that my priorities have changed. I came to the conclusion that I wanted to be around for my son and wife a little more and I knew I didn't have the flexibility to do that in the car biz. Long story short, I knew I needed to go into business for myself. That is what led me down the path of getting my real estate license. And here I am today. I am bringing over 18 years of helping consumers purchase big ticket items to the world of real estate. Please contact me today, and let me help you make your dream of becoming a homeowner come true!
